I am weary, the tediousness of falling
and rising sun-glamour serves to
measure if I haven't slept the night,
and forgets her inspiration in sagging
eyelids dark. Please, instead, lighten
heart-loads in timeless beauty?
I am weary of music with lyrics which
serve to deceive considerations of
measures loaded with plump quarter-
notes and pregnant rests, married
under a connoisseur's perfection.
Please, instead, may I find enjoyment
in the silence of peace?
I'm weary of broken-hearts and
dying hearts that want to continue, but
find no reason to exert, nor justification
for life's existences. Please, instead, may
I forget my heart's pain and serve
to lift others'?
I am oh so weary of patience toward
an end. Please, instead, give me the end,
filled with filling without end, in eternity
and in sunrises and songs and love.
