Letting Go

There is no fire left: I’m soulless;
walking gone, your wake left
a gently determined breeze,
and it filled it’s place, leaving
nothing in mine.

Funny, you smiled as you pressed
my heart to yours, in that new
and now-gone special fashion:
easy in and easy out; easy-get.

It’s all about forward, now.
Me, sifting past gripping
memories and trying to memory-
no more; to un-regret my
having loved and lived you.

This is kind of stalkerish of me, but I saw you wrote on Mindy's Bridal Shower wall and I looked at your page and consequentally checked out your blog. I loved this poem! You are so beautiful and you have so many wonderful ideas! Also, what is the name of the song that plays when you open your blog? I must know. So good. You are amazing. That's all.
