The Calvary Cowboy

While at the Mesa VDG's, I spotted a felt cowboy hat, and tried it on for size. Earl offered it to ME. Yes, me! My very own out-on-the-dunes and random-tanline cowboy hat. We cleaned it, steamed it, and shaped it.

I found out later that Earl had searched for months for the band on this hat; it's an old-school yellow Calvary band. If you know what that is, you'll know why I like the hat.
