The Week of the Girls!

We took this week to bond as women and sisters. I feel it a wonderful blessing to claim as my family women from whom I learn such a great deal. Each has a unique trait manifest in love and developed in faith. I learned this week, from lovely examples, that:

1: Dinner of Champions
Mommers brought kabobs of deliciousness to the table, and we each contributed.

2. Racquetball Tourney
Girls vs. the court: 50% girls, and 50% court (you'd be amazed how those walls come out of nowhere, and how they direct the ball right toward your face- especially Liz!).


3. Rest and Relaxation
Playing hard can be a difficult task, and drains an astounding amount of energy. And we need our beauty sleep.

4. Mini-Golf (Contemporary Masters)
We found the neatest art exhibit- an 18-hour mini golf exhibit, with each hole designed by a local artist.


5. The Culture of Artistic Headbands
We gathered an entourage of colorful fabric and vogue buttons (or we pretended they were vogue) and tried our skill at making headbands and pins. The result: an artistic infusion to be worn on our noggins.

I love my girls because they teach me about womanhood.
