For five consecutive years, the VDG family has gathered at J's home for our immediate family Christmas party, which has been deemed the illustrious
"VDG Smash."
Why include 'smash' as party of a Christams party name? It's quite easy- we have a racous, bracketed tournament of Super Smash Brothers, which champion receives laud the entire year succeeding. (I won't mention here that B has been the champion for the 5 consecutive years the tradition has run...).
Part of the festivities include a delicious dinner by K, and musical numbers, which are documented below. This year S took the cake. He made a horizontal organ out of old wrapping paper cardboard bores. Now that is creativity!
