I'm as much a fan of quick and easy recipes as the next girl, but for a special occasion, I like to make a special dessert. I've found a combination that satisfies both the palate and the timesheet! I took it to Justin for his last day at work, which he recently quit before moving to California (pictured below).
Butter Pecan Pie
- I use a Duncan Hine's Butter Pecan Pie mix in a bundt pan: DELICIOUS
- Chop up pecans (or walnuts) and sprinkle into the bottom of the pan before adding wet cake mix
- Cook per directions, and drizzle with powdered sugar glaze, and your favorite fruit jam or preserves (i.e. strawberry, raspberry, apricot)
