As part of my graduate studies at the University of California-Irvine, I assisted in maintenance on our 250 kW power Mark I TRIGA . I climbed out on a precipitously placed ladder over the reactor pool, as seen below. Unfortunately, I can't disclose toooooo many details (my giddy attempt at sounding important), but it was seriously awesome.
