I am bound by noble causes,
but callowing, marry only some.
Truth compels as proper evidence,
hapticity forces patterned consistency,
even pity will motivate my heart.
But I am not bound by love:
I refuse the cause.
Alone from a lucid chatter,
separate from ionized words
of adoration, unwilling not
to be unyielding, I am unbound.
I forsake the rope burns from my wrists,
gate my teeth without a choke,
view beauty without jealousy,
and smile without cause.
I cry for no one, yield to anyone,
scream at nothing, and hold
an honest heart.
I may be barren, but I am not dead,
Unfruitful, yet still alive in unity:
I am not yoked by love,
I am not bound by love.
