Utah Half Ironman 2012

 KK and I competed in a Half Ironman last Saturday.  This was my fourth and KK's first time- and what a whopper!  I don't ever remember it being this difficult!  KK was my inspiration- called and convinced me to sign up, delivered the night-before prep talk, and even woke me up at 4:45 am the morning of our race.  She cheered me every time she passed me, and pushed like a true Ironman.

My times:  1.2 mile swim: 49:03; 56 mile bike: 4:16; 13.1 mile run: 2:25.

Kara took 4th and I took 6th in our category.  More details and pics to come!
