Last month was... you guessed it... my birthday. I've always loved birthdays since I've been little, and I'm not entirely casual about their celebration. I love to go all-out for my birthday or someone else's birthday. J has picked up on my enthusiasm, and surprised me this year with delicious belgian waffles in bed (with over-easy eggs and mango juice)!
We made one of my favorite dishes for dinner, had Robert Redford dessert, and opened a princess birthday package from Mom. Mom sent a pink-out party of butterflies, princess stickers, and a darling note. Gma VDG sent her usual and favorite card, and TT surprised me with bracelets and matching finger polish. I was blessed to talk with many loved ones on the phone, and couldn't be happier. Thanks for everything!
